Applicability
All CKCYSDA Members
1. Acceptance of Terms
By joining, associating with, or engaging in any CKCYSDA activity, all associations, organizations, Coordinators, volunteers, partners, and participants ("Members") explicitly agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
Explicit Agreement
Your participation constitutes binding acceptance of these terms. Failure to comply may result in suspension or termination of membership without notice.
1.1 Binding Nature
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between each Member and CKCYSDA. Continued participation after any amendments constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
1.2 No Exceptions
No verbal agreements, side agreements, or informal understandings override these written Terms and Conditions.
2. Nature & Purpose of CKCYSDA
2.1 Legal Status
CKCYSDA is an umbrella coalition of community-based, youth, student, trade, and charity associations operating within Kiru Local Government Area, Kano State, Nigeria.
2.2 Core Purpose
The coalition exists exclusively for:
Unity Platform
Uniting diverse associations under a single platform
Coordination
Coordinating community development initiatives
Collective Voice
Amplifying collective voice for Kiru LGA development
Sustainable Development
Promoting sustainable development and youth empowerment
Collaboration
Fostering collaboration and resource sharing
3. Governance & Coordination Structure
Non-Traditional Leadership Model
CKCYSDA operates under a unique coordination model without conventional hierarchical leadership
No Executive Positions
No Chairmen, Presidents, Secretaries, Treasurers, or traditional executive roles
Coordinator System
Each member association appoints one (1) Coordinator to represent them
Collective Decision-Making
All Coordinators participate equally in decision-making processes
No Authority Hierarchy
No Coordinator holds authority over another. All are equal representatives
3.2 Coordinators Council
The collective body of all Coordinators forms the Coordinators Council, which is the supreme decision-making body of CKCYSDA.

4. Role & Responsibilities of Coordinators

Faithfully represent association's interests in all coalition matters
Communication
Serve as liaison between association and coalition
Participation
Actively participate in meetings and activities
Compliance
Ensure association complies with coalition decisions
5. Membership Requirements & Obligations

Respect Coalition Decisions
Abide by decisions made through proper channels
Maintain Discipline
Uphold highest standards of conduct in coalition activities
Protect Coalition Unity
Avoid actions that divide or weaken the coalition
6. Strict Non-Political Policy (ZERO TOLERANCE)
ABSOLUTE PROHIBITION OF POLITICAL ACTIVITIES
This is CKCYSDA's most fundamental and non-negotiable principle
6.1 What is Prohibited
Political Involvement
- Supporting or opposing political parties
- Campaigning for political candidates
- Organizing political rallies or events
Government Propaganda
- Promoting government political agendas
- Acting as government mouthpiece
- Distributing political propaganda
Political Endorsements
- Endorsing political parties or candidates
- Using coalition name for political purposes
- Political fundraising activities
Zero Tolerance Enforcement
Immediate Termination
Any political involvement results in IMMEDIATE AND PERMANENT termination of membership
No Warning System
No warnings, no second chances, no appeals process
IMPORTANT CLARIFICATION
Working with Government ≠ Political Activity
CKCYSDA may collaborate with government agencies on development projects only, but must maintain complete political neutrality. Any government collaboration must be transparent, development-focused, and approved by the Coordinators Council.
7. Acceptance & Acknowledgment
Final Agreement
By participating in CKCYSDA activities, I acknowledge that:
- I have read and understood these Terms and Conditions
- I accept all provisions without reservation
- I understand the Zero Tolerance political policy
- I agree to comply with all requirements
- I accept potential consequences for violations
